How did it all begin?

Erco was founded in 1984 by Yosef Cohen and Leon Erez. It’s hard to believe that a company that employs more than 380 workers and owns one of the largest and most advanced logistics centers in the electrical market, began with one small store of 40m2 in the center of Tel Aviv.

From a store, to a company that controls the market

Erco are wholesalers and importers of electrical equipment and lighting fixtures. The company has a country-wide network of 14 branches, with no less than 20,000 items. Erco serves thousands of satisfied customers, among whom are electrical contractors, public and governmental institutions, various companies and individual customers. All these customers are served by experienced professionals who give sales services and technical support.

The company’s main offices include technical departments in a number of fields: cables and wires, lighting, modular switching and electrical supply to both industry and residences. At the head of each department there is an engineer, an expert in their field, who offers full support for industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects.

So what do we do?

Erco is a primary electrical supplier in four major markets:
• Infrastructures – railways, ports, transportation
• Industry – chemicals, air and space, vegetation
• Commerce – shopping centers, sports facilities, hospitals, airports, logistic centers
• Residential – apartment buildings, gardens, urban environments
Erco offers a wide variety of accessories for electrical installation, such as:
• Switch equipment: electrical boards and enclosures, circuit breakers and residual-current circuit breakers.

• Electrical and communications cables: low and medium voltage power cables, control cables, fire-resistant and halogen-free cables, telephone and data cables, 400 hertz aeronautical cables, signaling cables for railways, polyurethane cables, neoprene, cables for cranes, cables for clean-rooms, cables for solar panels, cables for mines, for frequency converters and welding cables.

• Lighting fixtures and lamps: exterior lighting fixtures for highways and roads, street lighting, railway tunnels, sports stadiums, industry and parking lots, bridges and architectural lighting. Interior lighting for offices, logistics centers and stores.

• Conduits and junction boxes: sheet-metal cable trays and ladders, and fire-resistant systems.

• Tools: electrical and manual tools.

• Microducts for blown fiber optic cables for telecommunication infrastructures.

We work only with brands having international reputations in each of the categories.

מפעל לחיתוך כבלים

השירות שמספקת החברה כולל חיתוך כבלים על פי הזמנה. חברת ארכה מספקת כ 60 מיליון מטר כבלים בשנה מתוכם כ 50% עוברים תהליך חיתוך ומדידה. לצורך כך החברה מפעילה 2 מכונות לחיתוך כבלים "גדולים" (כבלים בקוטר 10 ס"מ ויותר) וכן 3 מתקני חיתוך לכבלים "קטנים". החברה מתכננת להקים מפעל חיתוך מודרני שבו יפעלו 3 מכונות לחיתוך כבלים "גדולים" (כבלים בקוטר 10 ס"מ ויותר) וכן 5 מתקני חיתוך לכבלים "קטנים".

מפעל הרכבות

החברה עוסקת בייצור והרכבה של גופי תאורה יעודים, הייצור של חלקי הגופים מתבצע באמצעות קבלני משנה בארץ ובחו"ל. שלב ההרכבה של הגופים מבוצע על ידי עובדי החברה.
